Applications
The DMR-162 Demand Controller from Multispan is a highly accurate, industrial-grade energy management device designed for live monitoring and controlling of electrical demand. With a class 0.5 rating accuracy and multiple input versatility, the DMR-162 assists large facilities in managing electricity use, minimizing peak demand, and minimizing demand penalties. The DMR-162 has THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) measurement capabilities up to the 32nd order and is equipped with advanced relay control outputs and RS-485 Modbus communication capability to add intelligence to the demand management solution.
Construction
This demand controller, which is compact (98 × 98 × 61.5 mm), is also purpose-built for demanding industrial applications and has low consumption (~4 VA at 230 V). It will fit into a panel cut-out (92 × 92 mm). The front face is available rated to IP-65 (on request) for the most extreme ambient conditions.
